Scott and Lew,

I am checking with the customer to see if I can post the script on our
site. In the meantime, we can set up a Webex so I can show you the
script. It really is quite straight forward.

Hi Sara,
This is Scott and thank you for your quick reply.
So you are doing the upload into MEDITECH. Yes that is also
interesting.

I would enjoy seeing it and learning. In seeing what you did with
inbound
I might determine that outbound is likely to be "do-able".

How would you like to proceed with this?

Thank you,
Scott

Hi Bruce,

I assisted Mayo with one that's taking HL7 message output from Parex and
uploading to Meditech materials management and BA/R. The script runs
real time/unattended.

I also did an ADT interface between a home grown HIS system and
Meditech.

I would be happy to share code and show you how it works.

Subject: [Talk] HL7 'like' interface

Hello,
Is anyone using BWS to act as an "HL7" interface for ADT or LAB results
or
anything like that?

One of the things that impressed me last year (at Region 1 MUSE) was the
BWS
session
that stated this capability.

Has anyone done it yet? If so, what are YOU using it for?

I have a physician site who'd like unique HL7 file (specific to their
patients) and I
was wondering if anyone else out there already did this.

TIA,

Scott
