Greetings

Not the op here but i'll leave my $0.005.
I'm finding there are small ways the distros are different and when
these differences
cause some royal pitas it is quite useful to have some seriously clued
in person(s)
to ask for advice on what to do to rectify the issue. I really do not
want to splinter
the gtalug at all for I find that I am learning stuff from even the
comments etc given
on other distros but when I can't find anything on its immenseness
(sic - - the web)
then I'm stuck as I've got no programming background, even though it looks like
I need to start doing such too, being someone who merely uses computers as
tools, to do what I would like to get done.

Thanking one and all for their consideration and assistance!!!

Regards

Dee
