They can provide landline over fibre using a POTS adapter for those who need
that.
Out of curiosity I just checked bell.ca for what the price for landline is
these days. It starts at $52/month. I don't know what I expected it to cost,
since I've never had a landline in the 20+ years I've been in Canada, but I
certainly didn't expect it to be that much.
