being based in Europe I can also say that I really like Hetzner. I use their bare-metal offer as well as their vm-setups for temporary/fast testing but all on Linux... That said I also use hostpoint.ch for hosting and bare-metal. It's based on freebsd and even more important for our company located in switzerland. Prices are ok too.
