Hello AI Squared Staff:
First, let me thank you for all of your hard work on the new version of
Window-Eyes.
I especially appreciate what to some may appear to be a small improvement.
That is, access to the native Outlook calendar. I appreciate the work that
went into the built-in function to create/modify Outlook calendar events but
access to the native Outlook calendar fits more with the idea of Window-Eyes
users accessing applications in the same fashion as their sighted counterparts.
I just have one wish/suggestion:
In the "Day" view, or in any view for that matter, Each time I arrow up or
down I hear "Richard's Calendar, Day view, Sun Feb 15 ..." This
causes a lot of verbosity if one arrows around much. Would it be
possible to have Window-Eyes speak certain information only when it changes?
I.E. I don't need to hear "Richard's calendar" every time I move up, down,
left or right within Richard's calendar. Similarly, Unless I arrow right or
left, I don't necessarily need to hear which day I am navigating. Of course,
upon first entering the calendar I do need to hear all of the information.
Thanks for your consideration and my apologies if this can already be done
from within Window-Eyes or from within the Outlook Enhanced app. I'm sure this
could be done with an app but I'm no scripter.
Keep up the difficult but great work.
P.S. I am using Outlook 2010 and Window-Eyes 9.0.0 on a WIN 7 Home Premium
computer.
