Please may I ask if this soft-phone you are using can support and handle a compatible voice/data modem that works with windows 8.1? I am asking because I have a friend of mine that using the pc by means of a mouth piece and she needs a software that can handle voice/data modem to answer standard telephone calls through her pc. Her existing system supports only windows xp and I did not manage to find something suitable for her that supports windows 8.1.
