Hi can you please pass along the model information on this wired headset that you have that costs 60.00 and sound good. I have the 995 plantronics and find that the battery in it doesn't last very long. So I would like to get A wired one that sounds good and has A good mic as well. Can you go to your nearest store like best buy and still get one of thees headsets?

Wireless headphones sound like a great option, don't they. Unfortunately
they are not. They are very subject to interfeerence, and their battery
lives are short. I tried two different units, the model 995 from
plantronics. The sound is incredible if you can keep the sound from
breaking up. I also tried the h800 from logitech. The bluetooth sound
is horrible. The sound is very garbled. The sound from the usb is
great, but it breaks up a lot. If you have a microwave, and you operate
it while talking on either one of these headsets, forget it. The sound
goes out completely.
My recommendation is to stick with a corded headset. There is a
logitech which costs 60 dollars. The sound is out of this world, and it
is very sturdy, more so than any cordless. Cordless headsets tend to be
flimsy.

I would totally suggest that model of headphones. They work perfectly.

Try the Logitech H800. It is both wireless and Bluetooth and I don't
believe you need to install any software to use it. It has worked for
me as
a plug-&play device in both the professional versions of Windows XP and
Windows7. It does come with an antenna that you can use with Skype.
There
is a nano USB plug that you simply plug in and forget!

Hope this is somewhat helpful.
