all support for windows 7 wwill end in 2020.
but there will not be anymore service packs released and the stores can not
sell newly manufactured computers with windows 7 on them. they are allowed
to sell there remaining invatory. but once that is gone that is it.
i think they can still sell used or refurbished.

I don't know where the idea that Win7 has ended comes from, but can
confirm that late as yesterday, my computer received "Important Updates"
from Microsoft that needed to be installed. That is most definitely on a
Win7 machine. If they still send out updates, why would anyone so
stubbornly tell us that support for the OS has ended? Apparently, it had
not ended as of yesterday.
Please, make sure you are giving out correct info, as people may
otherwise make choices that would not necessarily benefit anyone.

What are you basing your belief that support for win7 has ended. It will
continue, according to Microsoft, until at least 2020.
And it is always possible that it may go beyond that date.
Many manufacturers and pc builders are offering Win7 as an option and are
likely to continue doing so for the foreseeable future.
If you know otherwise, please explain.
