I had this issue on my HP laptop running Win 8.1 and it was a problem
with the Beats audio on the system. I did a little tweaking of the
audio settings and the delay went away. Make sure your sound card audio
enhancements are disabled if you don't have the beats audio. Audio
enhancements seem to effect the Decaccess 32 the most. Least in my case
the Vocalizer voices didn't have the issue.
