Sounds like WE is speaking before the cursor has had a chance to move. You
could try setting the up and down cursoring arrow trigger delay values to a
higher number.

Subject: Cursoring in Active Directory /Tree

Hello,

I am using Windows 7 and WE 9.1 with a set file renamed from default.set.

In Active Directory, the cursoring up or down reads the previous container
when in the first 3 branches. This also happens when navigating by typing
the first letter of the container. The settings for the up and down arrows
are set to read line. I have tried to change to read something else, but
that doesn't help. An example would be: we have departments like Public
Health and Public Works. If I am on Public Health and press the down arrow
to Public Works, WE says Public Health when it should say Public Works.
Likewise, when I arrow back up to Public Health, WE says Public Works. The
Windows Explorer or any other tree views do not behave like this.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get these arrow keys or typing
by first letter to read correctly?

Thanks,

David Ayers
