Hi Rick,
I am actually surprised you are able to use etrade at all. In 2007 or
so I had an account with them but found their site very inaccessible
with Window-eyes. If you are able to use ETrade at all, they must
have improved accessibility some. I eventually became so frustrated
that I switched to ScotTrade and, as they say, never looked
back. (pun intended). Several people on this list use ScotTrade
successfully. Their site works well for me. Their staff has been
professional and courteous in the nine years I have dealt with them.
Hope this info is useful.
It iis easy to transfer to a new brokerage. Get in touch with
ScotTrade. Have them help you transfer to their brokerage. They
helped me to it and it was easy.
Let yourself have the kind of good tools you need as an investor
rather than fudging, hassling and being tripped up by your financial
institution.

I am getting tired of slogging through the e*trade maze but it is a big
hassle to transfer to another brokerage if there is a way to transfer funds
online in e*trade if you know of one.
