check that the enhanced keyboard app is turned off. control alt zero.
myself i uninstalled it. there are too many keyboard conflicts. one of them
is what you describe
there are some keys that can not be redefined even if you save your settings
they will just revert back to what they were before you saved the settings.
like the read to end can not be changed. these keys are undefined when the
insert layout app is on. or saved. haveing two auto load hot
keys

Hello Listers, Here I am again.
Have any of you experienced what I am at present, and if so, is there
really anything that can be done about it?
I am running Window-Eyes for Office, and no matter what I do, I can't
get my keyboard settings to save. I have tried both toggles, pressed
ctrl-s to save a million times, but no go. So, what is the secret. Am
really becoming quite frustrated.
