There used to be a program called "file splitter", you could split large
files and then put them back together. Search on Google and see if this
would work for you in this situation.s

It sounds like your DVD drive is one of the older drives that have a limit
of 2 GB. Do you know if your DVD drive supports Double Sided recording,
and are the DVD disks you are using able to record double sided?
