The limitation is the format of the disc, not the limitation of the drive. All you need to do is to get a software which support UDF instead of ISO 9660 / Joliet
Once you done that, you should be able to burn the max capacity of the DVD 4.2gb. -------------------- regards Thomas N. I've hit a little bit of a dilimma. Wow, I'm not exactly sure how I'm gonna deal with this. I've got a file which is over 2GB in size. I'm saying this one file alone is over 2GB in size. Don't ask. LOL! Anyway, I'm trying to burn it on to a DVD with Nero. Windows Exploder isn't helping either much with this. In both cases I get an error stated the file is larger than 2GB and therefore cannot be burned using the standard ISO specification. So well? damn! How am I gonna deal with this? I could put it on a USB flash drive and back it up that way, sure, but I'd rather not if I can at all help it. Yeah, I know I could zip it up, or rar it/7zip it, but even doing that, I don't think it's gonna get it compressed down enough to work. Does anyone know a way around this, or honestly, am I kind a screwed.
