I am a bit confused. This is not about appointments I have put on my calendar. This is the reminder longer chime with kind of a strum chord and I get it on all special days: Easter, Administrative Professionals Day, etc. I think I simply don't know how to dismiss these. Sorry I wasn't more clear. I never thought of it being linked with iCloud. Marc, you are too thorough and I am very grateful for your patience.

If you have created appointments in your Outlook calendar with reminders, Outlook will emit a chime and display the Reminder dialog with a list of all reminders each time you open Outlook until you dismiss them. 2. Outlook plays a chime when new emails are received and displayed in your Inbox 3. The Window-Eyes Outlook Enhance app is designed to play certain tones when an email is opened that has text presented in the message's information bar.
