This kind of thing drives me nuts. I just closed and restarted WE, and the problem went away. Could someone tell me why this problem happens in the first place, and what I can do to prevent it?

Thanks again,

Larry

Hi listers,

I can't say that this happens every time I look at the contents of a folder, but enough to where it really gets quite annoying. When arrowing up or down through a list of files in a folder, I hear "Selected item count and size." It seems like if I press a bit hard on the up and down arrow keys, and fast, I can somewhat avoid it, but that isn't the magic solution I'm looking for. If someone has encountered this issue, your help in putting an end to it sure would be appreciated. I'll sure be glad when the day comes when I can start feeling a bit more expert with this new ribbon thang, but I'm not there yet. It all just seems way too cluttered and convoluted for my taste, but no need complaining I guess. I'm sure I'll have my aha moment sooner or later, but it hasn't happened yet.

For the record, I am using WE 9.1 Windows 8.1
Thanks for reading,

Larry
