Hello,
if you could explain exactly what you were hoping to accomplish. We might be
better able to assist you. For example, if you're attempting to reinstall
factory settings you would want to go to the file menu in the window-eyes
control panel and go down to the factory sets option the shortcut for this
is F. This will allow you to reinstall any factory set files that you wish.
If on the other hand you would like to start with a completely fresh user
profile, simply delete the window-eyes folder found in your user folder,
with window-eyes not running. Of course, restart window-eyes and a new
folder will be created and the default scripts will be installed. If you're
attempting to accomplish something else. Please do let us know.
I do hope this helps!

Hi,

Here's what the manual says about Reset:
R = Reset Settings
Choosing this option will cause Window-Eyes to revert to the settings you
previously saved to disk. This is especially useful if you make some changes
you do not like, or you inadvertently modify a setting that has negative
consequences. Note that this option will not reset Window-Eyes to factory
defaults; it only loads the settings you last saved to disk.

So, it sounds like it simply reloads the current set file.

Hth,

Rod

i don't know what it does. but you can open the w e control panel and use
reset in the file pull down.
and you could re install the wineyes user interface and restore the factory
global settings from the factory set file screen and check that all the
factory set files are up to date.. trying these options may save you from
having to reinstall wineyes.

You can only uninstall the program, not modify or repair it.
