Hello Michael, I use Goldwave, as I find it more user friendly. In order to change the settings on your computer to allow recording from your microphone and sound card, you will need to go into the system tray, choose speakers, and choose change playback settings. You will then need to unmute your microphone, and control tab to recording settings. Your soundcard should have a stereo mix or what you hear option. If not, press the context menu key, and make sure show disabled devices is checked. Then, if you find stereo mix or what you hear, choose set as default device in the context menu. Hope this helps.

Hi guys,

I need to produce a an audio tutorial using the computer, and for this
purpose, I need to record both the voice of the window-eyes screen reader
and my speech at the same time.

Using Audiocity, can someone explain me which settings I need to change in Audiocity so I can record both the computer speech and myself talking? If
there is a better tool than audiocity, I'm open for suggestions.

thank you in advance for your kind help.
