Hi Neville,

With any document open, just open any other document use File open or File
Recent.
Once more than one document is open, you use Alt-tab to switch between them
since they open in completely separate windows, not document windows within
a unified Word window.

Hth,

Rod

Subject: switching documents in Word 2013

Hi,

After using Word 2003 for a long time, I have just updated to Office
2013 and having a few problems. Hopefully someone can help with my
learning curve.

After looking through all the menus and the on line help,I can't find
anything dealing with being able to switch previously loaded documents.

With Word 2003, it is possible to load more than one file into memory
and then access any file as required. This is great for moving data
from one file to another.

It is possible to load more than one file into Word 2013 but try as I
might, there does not seem to be a way of accessing these other loaded
files. One can be accessed but not the others.

Does anyone know if this can be achieved in Word 2013 and if so, how is
it accomplished?

Thanks
Neville.
