I tried it with the message you sent me. Alt+1 through 7 did read the data
in those fields. And as for the digest messages, alt+7 does allow me to
arrow up and down the list of attached messages. However 1 through 6 didn't
move focus to the field. I wasn't able to use the arrow keys to read the
contents.

The Alt key combined with the numbers 1 to 7 on the Qwerty side of the
keyboard read the header fields and a second press of any one of these puts
you in that field where the arrow keys should allow reading by character.

Has anyone been able to read the screen and get the spelling of specific
words using the mouse keys? If so, it would be appreciated if you can let me
know how you have managed to do it.

When I try to read the name in the From field in Outlook for example, I use
the mouse keys to get on that line and all I am able to accomplish is to
read the line. I cannot get the mouse cursor to move character by character
or to read an individual word which doesn't allow me to get it's spelling or
international phonetics.
