I have to disagree with those who want the return of the old text selection
method when extracting text from web pages. I do believe that perhaps some
refinement is required to more accurately complete the f8 selection, but I
have fewer problems than others in this regard, as I braille display check.

I do agree that if Window-Eyes could facillitate an accessible Windows
install - how good that would be!
\But given Microsoft's dinosaur approach to accesible Windows install
compared with Apple, can third party screen readers actually tackle this?

Several thoughts. First, I agree, let's go back to the standard way of
selecting and copying text from web pages. Second, one thing Window-Eyes
does that no other screen reader to my knowledge does is allow you to hit a
hot key and bring it back up when it stops talking.

One thing I'd love for WE to do that would separate it from the pack is to
be able to run when you're installing or upgrading Windows. I don't think
any screen reader does that.
