Hi Lou, Yes, and this is because it is not a custom control and so cannot be reclassed. I believe Tom was referring to edit boxes which, once reclassed, behave as edit boxes.

For example, when you open Word, Wordpad, Notepad, or anything similar you land in the editable field. This is the focused window. So if you have some kind of editor that isn't working well you can reclass it to an edit box, rich text edit, etc. by just choosing the focused window.
