I just remembered there is a way to reclass standard controls. I thought 
you might be interested in this, Rod, because it can be done via scripting.

Here's a case wherein the editor window is a static window.

Sub OnChildFocus(oFocused)
' Validate the window here.
If oFocused.OriginalType = wtStatic And Cursor.Visible Then
   ' Make sure it hasn't already been reclassed.
   If oFocused.Type = wtStatic Then oFocused.Type = wtEdit
End If
End Sub
