What causes me irritation is that nobody considers that it's not the WE people's fault, but, rather a change in page design that's just not accessible. There are pages that neither WE nor NVDA can handle and it's not the fault of either developer.

Hi:
I agree with Chip. Having been a long-time subscriber of this list, I
can tell you that, for at least a couple of years, people have been
asking for a new release, and not just asking but demanding it, not
without some justification, I'll admit.
I find it strange that before 9.0 was released, so many listers told
us that it was getting to the point that they could not use the web
any more until GW came out with a new Browse mode, now I read
comments from people who find that Window-eyes 9 does not allow them
to access their favourite websites as well as Window-eyes 8.4 did.
I have no problem with people pointing out the problems that they are
having and expecting that those problems should not occur, after all,
that is what drives Aisquare to improve their product, but I find it
kind of ironic that, in the Window-eyes 8.4 era there was a strong
voice saying that we need a new version of Window-eyes right away, now
when the new version has come out, there is a strong voice that seems
to say version 8.4 was better.

I'm not a firefox user, so I'm not denying any problems you have, just your
characterization of GW "rushing it out the door" as being the problem.

this is gw's fault. they rushed w e 9.1 out the door before the bugs were
worked out.
firefox doesn't crash on me when i use nvda.
make sure your bookmark list is closed. mine will hang every time i open
the

bookmark list.
mainly if i use control i. even if i do not go to the list while it is on
the screen w e will eventually hang firefox.
i can open the task manager and press f once to get to firefox and unload
it

without haveing to reboot the computer.
but if i turn auto load and browse mode off first. then open bookmarks w e
will not hang.

This is random behavior. Sometimes when I go to a site with Firefox, my
voice just quits and I have to reboot. Other times, in my Becky email
program the voice will quit and fooling around with the tab, I can get it
to

come back. I'm using 9.1 and Windows 7. This is new behavior, since 9.1
was installed. Very annoying.
