Well, I've done that, with no impressive result. I still must
release both the alt and the tab key to hear any results, and if there are 3
windows open, the process of selecting one is very clumsy. I expect to be
able to hold down the alt key, press tab and release it, and hear the name
of the new window. I can't do that. I mustg release both the alt and the
tab.

The "Refresh Accessibility Libraries" ends with a spoken E. I didn't know
what that meant, just the letter e, alt-e, or ctrl-e, so I hit Enter
instead, to execute the function. Don't think it did much. But it did ask if
I wanted to restart, Alt-Y or alt-N, and I pressed Alt-y. It did not restart
the computer on its own as expected. I had to do that.

Hi,
Go to Window-eyes diagnostics from the app menu and run the refresh
accessibility libraries option.
After rebooting see if you can alt-tab as expected.

Subject: Alt--Tabbing

Why is it that I hear nothing when I hold down the alt key and press Tab?
Having to release tab to hear anything is very frustrating, and slows you
down terribly. Also, it takes several seconds to hear anything after you let
those keys go.

I hope it isn't a virus!
