I think it has something to do with the automatic completing of web addresses as you type. Or the auto suggest stuff. I have disabled all that junk and I can backspace in the IE address bar without double speech.
-----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Nick Sarames via Talk Sent: Friday, June 26, 2015 3:53 AM To: [email protected] Subject: WE & typing in the address bar in IE I had this problem previously in Windows-7 and earlier versions of WE & IE. When I type a URL in the address bar, and I make a mistake, I use the backspace key to erase the error. However, WE seems to be reading the letters twice. For example, if I type gwmicro.com, then decide to back space over each letter, it might say MMOOCC instead of mOC. Is this a WE problem or an IE problem?
