Hi John,

You need to select the text whose font attributes you wish to change, before
then trying to change it. You were doing fine in the ribbon, or, you can also
use the applications key to bring up the context menu, either one though must
be done to selected text.

Hth,

Subject: changing font in a word-2010 doc

I'm trying to change the font in a document using Word-2010. I can see the
combo box with the font size but I can't figure out how to change it. If I
go to the number or type it in and press enter, then re-read the font size
it's back to the original. How do I go in and change an existing font size?

Thanks!
