Press the Application Menu key or right click. Arrow down to Font or press the letter F. Arrow up and down the font selection and when you land on the one you want, press the tab key to the type and size areas of the dialogue. Then shift+tab to OK, this is a shorter path. Now if you want that font size and type to be your default, tab to the Set as Default button and press the enter key or spacebar, whatever you find to be most convenient. Tab to the radio buttons and select either this document only or all documents through the normal template. Tab to OK and all is good.
