Hi folks
In a bit of irony, I've noticed that for the last little while, the
audio description page on Netflix doesn't seem to work with any
screenreader I have on my system, including Window-eyes. Here are the
steps to reproduce this, so you guys can see this in action.
1. go to
http://www.netflix.com
and log in with your account, if you have one.
2. Choose the account on the whose watching? screen by pressing ente r
on the person's name for the account. This isn't a link, it's a bit of
text but it actually does act as a link.
3. Now go down near the bottom of the page, and choose the link that
says Audio description.
If for some reason you can't locate it, the direct link to the page is:
http://www.netflix.com/browse/audio-description
You can't locate any of the shows that have audio description, and you
can't actually watch them either. How ironic is this? I hope something
can be done to fix this, because if they're going to offer audio
description, we should be able to access it
Has anyone else noticed this too?
Thanks.
.
