Hi Chris,
I tested this out on my Windows 8.1 PC using IE 11 and a private beta version
of Window-Eyes. I was able to sign in, choose the link associated with my
profile and then activate the audio description link. I was given a disclaimer
that I was now using the latest version of the Netflix website which apparently
is a new design that was recently rolled out and attempts to unify the
experience between mobile and web. The resulting page is presented as a dynamic
web application. When I brought up the page navigation dialog with Insert Tab,
each title displayed on the page had a corresponding link in the list. So, I
could use this list of links to figure out what titles had audio descriptions.
If you want to navigate through the titles on the web page, I found that I had
to be out of Browse Mode. Once Browse Mode was turned off, I could use Tab to
navigate through all of the titles. Each title had three links. The first link
is the title of the content. The second link doesn't have
an accessible name and Window-Eyes reads a long string of numbers. The third
link is a Watch Now link. The experience is not very intuitive and could be
made easier through usability and accessibility enhancements. But, if you just
want to get a list of the titles with audio descriptions or play them, it seems
doable. I pressed Enter on the Watch Now link for a given title, and then
pressed Enter on the second Watch Now link that was presented. The title
started to play with audio descriptions. I hope you find this info helpful.
Regards,
Marc

Subject: Netflix audio description page doesn't work with Window-eyes

Hi folks
In a bit of irony, I've noticed that for the last little while, the
audio description page on Netflix doesn't seem to work with any
screenreader I have on my system, including Window-eyes. Here are the
steps to reproduce this, so you guys can see this in action.

1. go to
http://www.netflix.com
and log in with your account, if you have one.
2. Choose the account on the whose watching? screen by pressing ente r
on the person's name for the account. This isn't a link, it's a bit of
text but it actually does act as a link.

3. Now go down near the bottom of the page, and choose the link that
says Audio description.
If for some reason you can't locate it, the direct link to the page is:
http://www.netflix.com/browse/audio-description
You can't locate any of the shows that have audio description, and you
can't actually watch them either. How ironic is this? I hope something
can be done to fix this, because if they're going to offer audio
description, we should be able to access it

Has anyone else noticed this too?
                         Thanks.
.
