Dave, Try following the steps on this page on GW. There are a couple Microsoft file that need to be installed to ensure that the Outlook Enahce app functions correctly. Aome of us have found that running these 3 downloads fixes the issues that sound like what you are finding.

I believe that I am current on the necessary apps, however, I find that the ALT-0 option, as well as the ALT-h-x-v option do not work to convert HTML to plain text. I have difficulty in determining if all apps and set files are current.
