When this happens, shift-Tab first, since this should put you in the
attachments or subject field. Then press Tab, and read-to-end should work.
This is my experience with Outlook 2010 and WE 8.4 at work.

I, too, have this same problem. I'll open a message, usually after a long
string of successful message readings, hit read-to-end, and nothing happens.
I have to tab and backtab until I find where the message reads. Then, if I
close the message and re-open it, Normal reading is usually restored.This
has been going on for the past two or three upgrades, I think since after WE
8.4.
I'm using Office 2013 with Outlook, Windows 7 Pro, on a core i7 desktop
computer.

I also have the issue of focus not always landing on the body of the
message. Not sure of the fix for that. For now, I just Shift tab and tab
back to get focus.

I have done this and it still is problamatic also using "." or when you have
delete opens next message we gets lost and stuck on the subject and has
issues still under we 9.1 windows 7 outlook 2007.

file that need to be installed to ensure that the Outlook Enahce app
functions correctly. Aome of us have found that running these 3 downloads
fixes the issues that sound like what you are finding.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the previous help with updating my Outlook apps.
I have recently noted a problem in trying to make HTML messages more
readable with Outlook (2007), and WE 9.1. I believe that I am current on
the necessary apps, however, I find that the ALT-0 option, as well as the
ALT-h-x-v option do not work to convert HTML to plain text.
I have difficulty in determining if all apps and set files are current.
When I am offered an auto update for an app, I select "update all", but that
doesn't seem to change the working status of either of the Outlook Enhanced
app features.
