Window-Eyes 9.2 is a paid upgrade. In the US, the upgrade price is $49. But, if
you have an active Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA), the upgrade is free
and will not use an upgrade count. For example, if you have an active SMA with
one upgrade remaining, you can download 9.2 and you will still have one upgrade
remaining on your SMA. If you own version 9.0 or 9.1, you can purchase an SMA
to get version 9.2 plus two future upgrades. Also, if you have Office 2010 or
newer installed, you can get version 9.2 at no additional cost through the
Offer for Users of Microsoft Office (www.WindowEyesForOffice.com). Please keep
in mind that if have a retail license and switch to the free version, you would
forfeit the free technical support and premium voices that are included with
your retail license. I hope this helps.
Regards,
Marc

I'm also getting an error message but this is due to excessive traffic.
Everyone wants the upgrade right now. As far as it being paid, I don't
think so, because it shows I have one sma count remaining, and i've had
one remaining since version 9 came out. So I think we're all just gonna
have to wait til the excitement dies down and we can give the servers a
bit of a break.
