Bryan is correct, your single SMA would cover both your pcs; AI/GW has
always been good about that.

I want to point out that you can still get Office 365 for yourself and it
doesn't have to effect your support for WE at all; it only would if you
decided to switch to the "free" version of WE, which takes an active signup
to that program, and another download and install, before it takes effect.

Hth,

Chip

I'm pretty sure you don't need more than one SMA even if you have multiple
machines.

Focus your powers and prepare for buttle.

So Chip and all,

Right now I still have one SMA, so I need to determine what's better to do
now and in the future: Keep in mind that I have at least two computers to
upgrade.

Should I get the 365 version of the latest Office for all of my computers
and loose my GW support, Or dflip the bill for a couple of copies of Office
and keep my GW support, - which when this current SMA is use up, will then
again cost me more out of pocket for a couple of new SMA contracts.

No Gary is just plain incorrect there ... no machine I've ever found comes
with a full working copy of Office; it's always a limitted demo (how would
MS survive giving it's flagship product away for free?).

I suppose there are retailers who will include it in their bundled price,
but if you do some price comparisons you'll see they're charging you for it.

Sorry, that's not necessarily so. I didn't have any form of office on my
computer when I bought it from Dell. I figured I might try outlook, so I
called them and asked them to send me office. When I got it, it turns out
that they sold me a student edition, with no outlook in it. But I didn't
know there was no office in this computer until I went to view some of my
documents that were on the old hard drive that I got the guy to put in from
the old computer. Pam.

I don't think so they cut off the folks who wer on the payment plan for the
free version to cut those costs . thats how I see it. I know a few friends
of mine who wer in this situation. So I don't think that the office approach
is a wrong thing.it gives folks the opportunity to own both what's wrong
about that one. If you're a payin customer of fs and you want to try out gw
you have that choice wwithout having to invest in the full copy. Almost
every machine now a days comes with some version of office, so that excuse
that you don't have office does not fly.
