Throwing in my 2cents. It depends, i have only used we for office and my state agency wouln't buy me a screenreader since they bought me zoomtext and as much as i try i can't get a full grasp of nvda so we for office is great for me. I don't have a esp (zoomtext's version of a sma) and i don't have any tech support incidents purchased for we for office. I have only called ai2 for tech support twice for we and was not refused. The most recent of the two was a total meltdown emergency tech support call lasting 3 and a half hours bouncing between ai2 VT and IN. All the synths i own are sapi5 ones i purchased or voices i have because of zoomtext so we for office not having high quality synths wasn't a big deal for me. If you have the paid version of we with synths you like tied to it and think you may need tech support frequently i'd keep the pay version and renew the sma. If not we for office is the way to go for one computer office 365 a monthly subscription is $7.50 and $10.50 for i believe 5 computers.
