just checking details will not always show the file size and date. you have to 
open a windows  pull down, folder options then details i think and check the 
columns you want to show.
the first is name and can not be hidden.
you can if you open the w e control panel/apps. then arrow to windows enhanced 
and check show all colums.

I checked details, but it doesn't change, but what it gave me was a list of 
something like two hundered and something items to check in details.  I want 
to hear what size the files are, and what file type.  Pam.
