Exactly the next office 2016 I don't think will run on windows 7 as it will be taking advantage of touch an that's only on modern devices which had 8.1 and windows 10. So whether you like it or not you will have to upgrade if you need to take advantage of modern apps that wont run on windows 7 but will on windows 8.1 and windows 10. So take advantage of it while you can after 2016 windows 10 will cost you $119 for home and $199 for pro editions. Just letting you guys know. while you have the chance to update for free I would do so.

You may decide to change when there's hardware that only the new OS can use. You might decide to switch when a program which requires the OS comes out. Otherwise, as long as your hardware works and your software doesn't need upgrading and you can keep the system protected, there's no real reason to move. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sunshine via Talk" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>; "Window-Eyes Discussion List" <[email protected]>; "Chris" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, August 03, 2015 3:09 PM Subject: Re: you will upgrade!!lol > So what you are saying is no matter if a person wanted to stay with windows 7 > microsfoft will force everyone to upgrade to windows 10 then is this correct? > can this be confirmed? > > On 8/3/2015 1:45 PM, Jim via Talk wrote: >> Hi there! >> I did about the same thing, I went from DOS to WIN98 to Win XP to Win 7. >> As Soon as I can, I will be going to Win 10.
