Of course there will always be glitches, but tthat doesn't mean that itis necessarily a wise thing to upgrade the first day of its release.Certainly the odds are, there will be fewer bugs three months after itsrelease than the first day. That said, if you have a beta testing typemindset when it comes to computers, then it is probably a good idea toupgrade, especially if you can assist in making the product better.

like it or not you will be forced to upgrade if you want to use any new
software. more and more  companies are switching over to app only
versions

that won't run on windows 7. even though microsoft will support ituntil

I don't see being forced unless you need to.  You may decide to change
when
there's hardware that only the new OS can use.  You might decide to
switch
when a program which requires the OS comes out.  Otherwise, as long as
your
hardware works and your software doesn't need upgrading and you can
keep the
system protected, there's no real reason to move.
