When I first turn on the computer and it goes to the desktop, I have to tab
around through everything til I get back to the desktop a couple of times
before it will read the stuff on the desktop. The other thing to do is to
do shift tab once and then tab back to the desktop, and it should say the
stuff. But this is not new. This has happened in all my versions of window
eyes. Now, if this is not what your problem is, I'm sorry and I hope
somebody else can help you. Pam.

Subject: Problems in 9.2 reading Desktop
Hello All:
One more 9.2 issue. I'm having problems reading what is on the desktop as I
arrow up, down, left and right. When I go to the desktop, Window-Eyes says
'No Selected Item'. When I arrow, I hear nothing. I've tried re-installing
the Windows Explorer set files with no luck. Any ideas? I'm running
Window-Eyes 9.2 on an HP Pavilion running Windows 8.1 with all updates.
Thanks,
Ray Campbell
