Flash Player is integrated with Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. You do not need to install Flash Player, but you may need to install updates. Adobe recommends users of the Adobe Flash Player Desktop Runtime for Windows and Macintosh update to Adobe Flash Player 18.0.0.232 by visiting the Adobe Flash Player Download Center <http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash> or via the update mechanism within the product when prompted.

You can test if flash is installed and enabled on your Windows 10 by performing the following test at: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-10-edge.html <https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-10-edge.html>

Here is an Adobe security bulletin you should read. It talks about Flash upgrades for Edge+IE for Windows 10 that address a security issue. Please see: Adobes security bulletin <https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb15-19.html>.

Flash player download can be found at: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer <https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer> for those using Windows 10. This will install version 18.0.0.232. Which addresses the latest MS and Adobe security vulnerabilities.

Greggory, Thanks for your suggestion.

I went to the Adobe site for updating the player, and downloaded an Windows 8.1 KB file for 64 bit machines, and it turns out that I apparently am already running the latest update. The name of the file is as follows "Windows8.1-KB3079777-x64.msu.

Is this in deed the one I need? If you have any further suggestions, please let me know.

BTW, the URL was "https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html."; <https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html.>

Thanks again,

Larry

Larry,

Are you running the latest version of Adobe flash. This is an error caused by either the web developer / programmer in many cases, but if you are running an older flash you could be experiencing a bug in the flash scripting engine.

Listers, Lately I have had the following pop up when using IE, usually when on the Drudge Report site, but since It seems to be related to the flash player, I'm sure it could show up just about anywhere. What can I do about this?
