Well, I'm not having problems with WE 9.2 and IE 11 latest updates so I find myself wondering what I'm doing right! I have everything set to the defaults in IE 11 and use Windows 7 64-bit machine. Maybe we should go from what's right instead of what's wrong! I'm not denying problems others are having, just puzzled. I'm not bragging, either, just finding very few times when IE says it's not working.

I never knew about that keystroke for quickly starting task manager. Focus your powers and prepare for buttle. -----Original Message----- From: net bat via Talk Sent: Tuesday, August 25, 2015 4:49 PM To: Tom Fairhurst ; Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: Re: WE 9.2 and IE 11 if you know which program it is open the task manager with shift control escape and end task on the program then you won't have to reboot every time. -----Original Message----- From: Tom Fairhurst via Talk Sent: Tuesday, August 25, 2015 3:04 PM To: Curtis Delzer ; Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: Re: WE 9.2 and IE 11 I might add to this that for me, I am not able to start narrator or any other program to help. Even if I am successful in getting Window-Eyes back, the other offending program may remain stuck or otherwise not work properly. Often, I must hit the power button for a reboot. -----Original Message----- From: Curtis Delzer via Talk Sent: Tuesday, August 25, 2015 3:32 PM To: Loy ; Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: Re: WE 9.2 and IE 11 that is the issue, again and again, when a program has stopped working, Window-eyes also "stops" working when the computer is still working! THAT is the issue, though IE or any other program stops, Window-eyes has to be hearty enough or however or whatever it takes in resources, to make us competitive with other screen observers that say "X, program has stopped working . . ." Then, we can properly interact. Issues with that program stealing focus away have to be dealt with as well since if we are writing a message, or a book, or . . . and X program crashes, the issues where Window-eyes becomes unable to talk are like "we're going blind again" without any access at all. -- Curtis Delzer <[email protected]> On Mon, 24 Aug 2015 22:58:57 -0400 Loy via Talk <[email protected]> wrote: > I am one that is not having the problem to the extent that some are.
