Not hearing anything lets the mind wander in dark places. That said, WE 9.2 is working somewhat decently after having played with settings, switching slowly and allowing WE to load whatever it needs to before doing any navigation within the newly focused application. I still get the occasional speech loss, very few lockups lately, and still have problems after a computer sleep session but things were so bad a few months ago I almost had to drop WE as a screen reader of choice - now not so much but it needs to be more solid. In any case, what were the results from the test of the laptop problems and what were the problems to begin with? Is it something that could help others like settings?
