your doing yourself a disservice by not updateing.
you are leaveing yourself wide opened to hack attacks because the only way you are going to get any security updates is to upgrade firefox when it comes out.

Subject: Firefox Automatically Updating again

Hello,

I had Firefox 30.0 installed for quite a while now without any updates. Yesterday, I re-booted my computer andFirefox updated to version 41.0. I un-installed 41.0 and re-installed 30.0. I marked it to not update and went into about:config and turned off app.update.auto, app.update.enabled, and app.update.silent. I just had to re-boot my computer, and the software upgraded itself again. Did I miss an update notification or option to turn off to keep Firefox from installing the upgrade?

Thanks,

David Ayers
