new executable as well, wouldn't you?

David, I took another listers advice and did the following. Go into the
folder where fire fox is installed, and find the firefox.exe file. Add the
word, old, to the name of this file so that it reads, firefoxold.exe. I have
been using fire fox 17 for a while now, and since I added the word, old, it
has not upgraded itself, nor has it effected the functionality of the
program. HTH
