FWIW, you might have better luck with Google and Youtube search results by ensuring instant results are disabled in your Google profile accessed at www.google.com/preferences.

Sometimes it works as it should, and other times, as you say, you need to turn it On. I see this all the time when visiting Youtube. The first screen reads and works fine, but the Search Result screen about half the time, I need to turn on Browse mode. Guess the bottom line is that Yes, there is at least one other person using 9.2 that finds Browse Mode to have its problems.
