Unusable, no. But, since results are displayed dynamically on the page as you type with browse mode off, the user has to enable browse mode before navigating the search results. This can be tricky for novice users. With Google instant disabled, results don't get displayed until you submit the search, and then a new page loads with the results. Browse mode kicks on automatically when the results page loads and you can start navigating through the search results. There is a tutorial that covers how to disable Google instant and perform a Google search on the old GW Micro site. Use the training link and then tutorials link to get there. Hth, Marc
