there may be one of several problems.
where is win eyes comeing from. the speakers only, both speakers or headphones?
are the headphones usb headphones or not?
look in sounds in control panel and look in playback. there check what is being used as the default when the speakers are plugged in. it will tell which is the default. headphones, digital speakers ornormal speakers. make sure you make the right option the default sound device or you could end up with no speach.

Subject: Computer Not Recognizing Speakers

Hi,
My computer seems to only recognize ear phones.
I can hear through my speakers, but the computer doesn’t seem to recognize them.
What can I do?

Thanks,

Pastor Gil
