Hi Rod, Thanks for this. I am more in need of a general purpose text editor for writing php, java etc but I will keep this in mind.

I used Ultraedit for years, but the last few versions have been getting worse with Windoweyes and there latest 64 bit version I am not liking at all. TextPad has promise, but I am looking for other suggestions. It does not need to be free, I am more than happy to pay for a good editor. Of course, it must work very well with Windoweyes.
