Got my problem solved.
The culprit was an update KB3035583.
I uninstalled it and hid it for a different reason, to get rid of the
windows
10 icon in my systray.
My computer doesn’t change the cursor to the task bar anymore, but stays put
on
the desk top.
Thanks to Net Bat for mentioning this update on the list today.
