Interesting, I wonder why when I removed WE 9.3 and reinstalled WE 9.2, it
works again? I’m still running windows 7.

Russ, I had to re-install the drivers for my triple talk as well as unplug /
re-plug in my synth so the drivers themselves would re-initialize. After a
windows 10 update, not only did I have an issue with the USB triple talk, but
my sound scheme I'd been using for years became corrupted and my computer would
lock up when sounds were generated, certain sounds, not always the same ones. I
solved it by just loading a default scheme and re-loading my "old friend"
scheme. :)
This scheme contains many of the sounds which use to come with windows. :)

Speaking of the loss of speech issue. Is there anyone using WE 9.3 with a
TripleTalk usb? After I upgraded to 9.3, I had WLM 2012 crash several times
when reading messages as well as lose speech. I could hardly do anything
without losing speech. After I removd 9.3 and installed 9.2 everything works
without any problems. I'm using windows 7 home premium 64 bit with all updates.

  Hello,

I upgraded to WE 9.3.1 yesterday successfully. However, this afternoon,
I've lost speech and had to restart WE three times. Twice, speech was lost
after opening a link in an email in WLM 2009. One was a Kepler update from
NASA and the other was alink in an weekly update from the city of Royal Oak,
Michigan. The third loss of speech happened while using the OCR pportion of
MP Navigator which came with my Canon scanner. I haven't had this happen
with WE for a very long time. I'm using an Acer laptop with Windows 7 HP
64-bit, I.E. 11 and the SAPI synthesizer. The link from Royal Oak leads to
weekly police reports in PDF format. Loss of speech happened when Adobe
Reader DC tried to open the PDF.

I didn't have any of these problems with WE 9.2.

  Regards,

  Dan
